agency with most of the premium coming via home and auto insurance.
Otha Barrow of Marianna, Arkansas, was the first trucking account
that was written. From that point, the business has grown from one
trucking account to some 350 plus accounts. We have gone from zero
premium volume to a premium volume in excess of three million dollars.
What once was a local property and casualty agency, has now become
a multi-state agency, writing all types of transportation related
coverage for various size accounts, ranging in size from 1 to 100.
While specializing in transportation related insurance products,
we also have outlets for the additional lines of coverage that are
necessary to completely satisfy the independent trucker. In addition
to auto liability, physical damage and cargo coverage, we also offer
general liability; umbrella, health, life and in certain cases,
home and auto insurance coverage as well. The retention ratio of
the agency is in excess of 97%. Historically, when we write an account
it is usually a long-term relationship. The reason is simple: We
treat you like family. We are not a big city agency that recognizes
our customers by a number. When you call us, chances are, we will
